Allocate Two Consecutive Game Ports
Conan opens a second UDP socket on Game Port + 1 for the Steam pinger. This is hardcoded in Unreal Engine. If you don't allocate it on the same IP, your server shows 9999 ping in the Steam browser and players can't join from the list.
Pick a Game Port whose next port is free and add both allocations. Example: 7777 + 7778.
Long First Install
SteamCMD pulls about 40 GB. Expect 15 to 30 minutes before the first boot completes.
Wine vs Native Linux Builds
Two variants exist. Native Linux (Funcom, May 2026) is the default. It's lighter and faster. Wine runs the Windows binary. Saves are not cross-compatible, so pick one and stay on it.
RCON Enabled by Default
RCON is wired automatically using the password and port from your Startup tab. The in-panel console connects to it.
